Subprocessors#

botBrains GmbH uses the following subprocessors to provide GraceDNS. We announce additions or replacements on this page and by email to account holders at least 30 days in advance (see the Data Processing Agreement).

Current subprocessors#

Hetzner Online GmbH#

• Address: Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany
• Role: hosting of all GraceDNS servers (resolvers, control plane, website) and S3-compatible object storage for configuration artifacts and query logs
• Data location: Germany (EU)
• Safeguards: ISO 27001 certified data centers, DPA pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR

subprocess.io mail forwarding (fwd.subprocess.io)#

• Role: inbound email forwarding for the gracedns.eu contact addresses (security@, legal@, support@, liam@, dmarc@)
• Data processed: emails you send to those addresses (sender address, subject, content) in transit
• Data location: Germany (EU)

Not subprocessors: blocklist feed providers#

GraceDNS compiles its protective blocklists from external threat intelligence feeds (for example abuse.ch projects, CERT Polska, Spamhaus DROP and the IANA special-purpose address registries). These providers are data sources: we download data from them. They never receive customer data, query data or any other personal data from GraceDNS, and are therefore not subprocessors under Art. 28 GDPR.
